The Nelson Mountain Bike Club maintains a large network of trails, runs local club events, national events and international events. With over 3500 members we need help from time to time managing projects, events and trail builds. Any tenders for trail building and maintenance will be listed here as well as any current work vacancies.
The Trail Manager and Volunteer Coordinator is a fixed term contractor role and will be responsible for planning and implementing trail maintenance throughout the Nelson Tasman trail network. They will also be responsible for coordinating and running volunteer led trail working bees.

The Sponsorship coordinator and administrator position is a part time contractor position. The contractor will be responsible for managing and expanding NMTBC sponsorship partnerships. They will support the Club Manager and Committee with administrative tasks as needed.

The Nelson Mountain Bike Club Committee are responsible for the leadership, control and direction of the club as set out in the club’s strategic plan. Being on the committee is a rewarding way to give back to your community and to help govern the direction of mountain biking in Nelson.
The portfolio holder for events governs the club events which include family races, social get-togethers, XC, DH, Super D, Enduro, fundraising and more. The position is well supported by the Club Manager, race organisers, volunteers and fellow committee members.
This position ensures that the club is providing a range of events for all our members and that the events are running within the health and safety plans of NMTBC and that of the stakeholders and landowners’ requirements.
