Downhill Dig Day
April 17, 2021 – 8:30 pm – April 18, 2021 – 4:00 am NZST
As great as epic mountainbike events are, and as appreciative as NMTBC is of the efforts that our volunteers and riders put into running our events, they are not always great for our trails! As such, let’s get our dig on and have a little tickle up of Kaka track on April 17th! Tools will be supplied but bring along some gloves, some tunes, and a few mates! Shuttles will be run afterwards for a chance to test your digging skills!
Kaka was used for a National Downhill event earlier this year, but it is also a fun track ridden by a wide range of NMTBC members on a regular casual basis; let’s get it back to running nicely so everyone can enjoy it.
Meet at Sharlands carpark, at the gate at 8.30am April 17th. Diggers will get 2 shuttle runs for free.
Join us for a beverage at The Vic pub afterward because you’ll have earned one!
