The Gorge Enduro is back for 2024. This year we’re calling the event the Gorge Winter Experience – ‘The Matariki’. The event will take place over Matariki weekend and includes 6 race stages, several fun challenges and the opportunity to experience a few of the less ridden but very fun trails!
The trickier parts are not timed, but provide riders the chance to experience trails of The Gorge that a little less travelled. Includes two shuttles.
‘The Matariki’ is all about getting out with mates to ride awesome trails while supporting the Gorge. Race as hard as you like or take it easy and just enjoying being at the Wairoa Gorge MTB park.
The Gorge: Situated just south of Nelson, deep in the Wairoa Valley, ‘The Gorge’ is home to over 70km of world class hand-built single track. Trails start at grade 3 and go all the way to grade 6. It really is worth a visit if you haven’t been before!
