Communications and Marketing

A rare opportunity to join the committee of Australasia’s largest MTB club is up for grabs. Not only is this role a great experience to have seat on a committee that makes important decisions for around 3000 members but its an opportunity to give back to a community you know and love. In order to be highly functioning committee the Nelson Mountain Bike Club is looking for a marketing & communications specialist to join the committee. 

The role essentially has two parts. First and foremost is your governance role on the committee. This means you will help us make decisions on behalf of the owners of the club, the members, so that we are achieving the clubs goals and mission to make Nelson an exceptional place to mountain bike. 

The second part of your role is the portfolio you hold. Communications is an essential part of ensuring messaging gets from the committee to its audience and back again. Your key objective is to ensure the club has a strong communications strategy and plan in place so the club remains transparent and our audiences feel well informed and heard.
