Partial trail opening

As of 9am on Saturday morning (9 March 2019) have had a partial opening of the trails affected by the fire risk closures. They are:

Codgers - all trails on NCC land (except upper Firball):

  • Young Codgers
  • Dun Mountain Trail - up to the junction with Pipeline
  • Pipeline
  • Gully
  • Tu Meke
  • Hulk & Hogan
  • Tasman Journeys
  • Crazy Horse
  • Jacks Track (from Dun Mountain Trail to Middle Road - no access to Atmore Terrace)
  • Upper Firball
  • Lower Firball
  • Whaneke
  • Viral Flow
  • P51

Codgers - all trails on Ngati Koata land/Tasman Pine Forests Limited’s forest (you must have your permit with you to ride these trails):

  • Turners
  • Lollipop
  • Smasher
  • HotBox
  • DiVAS
  • Golf Course Road
  • TM2YL
  • IV Line

Fringed Hill Road
Te Ara Koa
Kingsland Forest trails (Hang 10, Bermed Monster etc)
The Grampians Reserve
Rabbit Island

Wairoa Gorge Bike Park is open - you can book shuttles at

  • All of Sharlands (no exceptions)
  • Black Diamond/Sunrise Ridge
  • Dun Mountain Trail
  • Peaking Ridge

  • Dew Lakes
  • Little Twin
