NMTBC DH Series – Race One

DH racing is back for 2025!

2nd & 3rd August – Race one: Fringed Hill

6th & 7th September – Race two: Kaka Face Trails.

22nd & 23rd November – Race three: To be confirmed.

DT25 – DH Trail

There has been a large team of young and old out digging every chance possible over the past few months to rebuild one of the original Fringed Hill trails, formally known as Devil’s Tail. The trail is being built to fill a gap in our network that will allow for easier, than grade 5/6, DH racing and it will be used for the National Secondary School Champs in late September. We can’t wait to host the first race on the trail!

Saturday 2nd August: Club shuttle day

10am – 3pm

$10 per run or $40 for 5

Shuttle pick up at Tantragee saddle. Riders must make their own way there.

No rego required, cash on the day. Limited medic cover, this is a shuttle day. You are welcome to come, even if you are not racing the DH race, as long as you are a club member. Under 17 year old’s must have a supervising adult on site.

Riders need to be self sufficient for food/water.

Sunday 3rd August: Club DH round 1 on DT25

Registration: 7:45 – 8:30am

First shuttle leaves: 8:45am

Seeding runs: 1:00pm

Race runs: 2:30pm

Prize Giving: 3:30pm

Entry fee to be paid on the day in cash only: $60 for NMTBC members, $70 for non-members

Categories (calculated by age as at 31/12/2025):

U13, U15, U17, U19, Open, Masters 1, Masters 2 (All riders are welcome to race in the Open category)

Safety gear requirements:

Protection rules will be based on the age of the rider, regardless of the class they are racing in.

Riders under the age of 17 must have a responsible adult on site during the course of the day.
