Gorge Working Bees
August 25 – 8:30 am – 5:00 pm NZST
The Gorge relies on a lot of volunteer help from the Nelson locals. Every day helping make a huge difference.
We will be focusing on getting all the trails at the Gorge groomed prior to opening for the 2026 – 2027 Season.
The 23rd will focus on opening Devolution. All the other dates will be clearing all the other trails.

The Gorge will:
- Supply tools
- refreshments at the end of the day
Please bring:
- Wear suitable footwear. All trail work is accessed on foot
- Your trail lunch.
- A backpack for water.
- sun protection-hat.
- gloves.
We would also like to have the buildings spring cleaned. If there is anyone out there who is keen please get in touch! You can spend the night at Barry’s accommodation.
