Codgers/Koata Park Pre-Xmas Working Bee
Join our pre-xmas working bee that will be followed by a BBQ and Fireball Skid Shuttles thanks to @scottish_express
When: Sunday 15th December – Meeting at 9am
Where: Meet at the Codgers container. We will be splitting into teams and tackling trails all over Codgers and Koata Park.
Bring: Suitable footwear, gloves, sun protection and snacks (raincoat if wet). If you are bringing younger diggers please bring a suitable lightweight tool for them to use (rakes etc). We’ll have a team on weedwhackers too, if you have a weedwhacker and are happy to bring it along for the morning, that would be appreciated!
Who: Everyone! We’d love kids and families to come and have ago at trail maintenance, we’d love first time diggers to feel welcome and we’d love as many experienced trail workers there as possible! The more the merrier! Under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult.
The idea of this working bee is to get as many people out on the trails as possible. The working bee will be from 9am – 11am. For those that join the working bee you can enjoy a post dig sausage sizzle at the Codgers Container and a shuttle to Fireball skid too, thanks to Scottish Express. First shuttle priority will be given to our younger riders who may not have experienced a shuttle before.
