2022 MAMMOTH ENDURO PRESENTED BY SANTA CRUZ

NEW ZEALAND’S TOUGHEST (AND RADDEST) SINGLE DAY ENDURO EVER! WE MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR IT BEING TOUGH – BECAUSE IT IS.
The legend of the Mammoth Enduro returns, as a single day, multi-stage enduro race that will be a true test of skill and fitness. Get your training programme into gear and get ready for an uplift, all trail grades 5+, and 1500+ descending. For the first time ever, there will be an E-bike division limited to male and female categories only.
This is an event not to miss!
We’re picking the cream of Nelson’s grade 5/6 tech trails – some old favourites and some new trails.
One uplift, and the rest will be pedaled. The reward… knowing you could and did, testing yourself against the best and having a ton of fun.
NOTE: Event Hub location has been changed to Smith’s Ford Reserve, Maitai Valley Road, due to the development of the Maitai Hub at the Waahi Takaaro Golf Course.
This will be the third and final race in the Southern Crown Enduro Series where overall prizes will be awarded.
ENTRY DETAILS
Your entry includes:
- One or two uplifts on practice day (26 March) and a couple of uplifts on race day (27 March)
- A free t-shirt
- Post-race food and beverage.
Entries limited to 100.
Cost: $115
Age Limit: Minimum age of 15 years as at 31 December 2022.
Ebikes: Note that only ONE battery is allowed for the race.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals received by 5pm Friday 18 March will be refunded, less a $25 administration fee. There will be no refunds after 18 March. Email us at info@nelsonmtb.club if you need to withdraw.
Transfer of entry
You are able to transfer your entry to another participant up until 18 March 2022. Go to the registration link and log in to do this. You will need the transferee’s email address.
Event Cancellation
The race will run rain or shine and the tracks can be altered in the unlikely event of extreme weather. In the incredibly unlikely event of having to cancel the race for a reason beyond our control, we will do our best to refund you, but 100% refund is not guaranteed.
COVID-19 Protection Framework Rules
Under the “traffic light” framework for COVID-19, the following will apply (subject to further guidelines from the Ministry of Health and MTBNZ):
Red :
- Vaccination passes required
- The event will be limited to 100 people
- Masks must be worn by everyone in vehicles.

Santa Cruz and Juliana Bicycles are stoked to support the 2022 Mammoth Enduro. As an epic multi stage Enduro race, the Mammoth is going to sort out who is New Zealand’s best mountain biker on the cream of Nelsons grade 5 trails. You’ll be technically and physically testing yourself against the best and with the Nelson Mountain Bike Club running the event, we know you’ll have a ton of fun.
