We caught up with Tony Mifsud from AON to find out what keeps them coming back.
For Tony and the team at AON, sponsoring the club is a natural fit. “We recognised what the Nelson Mountain Bike Club does for mountain biking in the region and how valuable the club is to the community,” Tony says. “Without the club’s efforts over the years, who knows where mountain biking would be in the region – it benefits everyone.”
And it’s not just business for Tony. He’s out on the trails himself, with Aorere and Whaimana among his favourites. Tony loves the variety of trails Nelson has to offer, with a fantastic trail network and one of the most proactive riding communities around. “It’s when you ride elsewhere that you really appreciate what we have here.”
